The Institute of Comparative Culture research unit “network studies” hosts a one-day conference held at Sophia University on June 8, 2013. Our focus is to explore broadly the concept of women and networks in nineteenth century Japan. As one of our practices in past workshops, we maintain open to a wide range of approaches and disciplines.
